Modern Love Brooklyn closed on June 15, 2025. Its old website still opens, which makes an old recommendation easy to mistake for a current dinner plan.
Modern Love’s Union Avenue restaurant has closed
The restaurant announced its closure on social media. The dated posts remain readable in a public mirror. Eater’s July 2025 closure report confirms June 15 as the last day.
The reason for closing has not been confirmed. The former restaurant profile keeps the old name and address with its closed status.

Spicy Moon Bowery offers vegan Szechuan cooking. Dirt Candy offers a vegan version of its tasting dinner by request. Neither is a replacement business at Modern Love’s old address.
